New to Netball?

Netball is one of the most popular sports for girls in the UK, with over 150 thousand women playing each week.

There are seven players in a team, each with specific roles . A game is made up of four quarters each lasting 15 minutes. Netball is a fast paced, high scoring game requiring great skill, power and tactical decisions. Its popularity is reflected in it being the only female team sport to enjoy weekly regular television coverage on Sky Sports. As well as an exciting World Cup last year.

We hope that the varsity series can be used as a platform to inspire others to join one of Britain’s favourite sports!

We’re coming back fighting!

Our 1st team have gone from strength to strength this season and are ready to face GKT and win! With some excellent new players and with the help of our new and fierce coach, we are ready to show our strength and skill on the court! Bring on Monday, the 13th of March!

We’re ready to win again!

Once again, this has been a successful season for GKT. With a great new intake into the team this year and old members continuing to improve, the team has come together and is stronger than ever. We are looking forward to showing off our speed, agility and strength at this year’s Varsity.
