New to Taekwondo?

Taekwondo is a Korean martial art which predominantly uses legs for kicking, but also involves punching and blocking with the hands. The literal translation of the word Taekwondo is: “The way of the foot and hand”. . In all aspects of Taekwondo, we observe the five tenets of Taekwondo: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control and Indomitable Spirit. Poomsae and sparring can be done competitively at national or international level competitions.
Whether Taekwondo is practiced to compete or just to improve on technique and style for oneself, it is a great way to increase your flexibility, fitness, and strength in both mind and body.
