New to Volleyball?

Volleyball, the doped-up version of don’t-let-the-balloon-touch-the-floor. It’s a high intensity, fast paced game in which two teams of 6 face off across a net and attempt to ground the ball into their opponent’s side of the court, while avoiding the same fate. It is wholly a team sport, requiring cooperation, athleticism, and a tremendous amount of perseverance. It is perhaps one of the most entertaining sports to play and watch, as there is no respite and a constant back and forth. We jump higher than Basketball players, hit harder than Boxers, dive better than Tom Daley, and receive balls often travelling over 100km/hr with our bare skin.

Bring it on!

King’s is a very talented and challenging team, and every match with them is an opportunity for us to show them our skills! For this reason our victory will be even sweeter.

Our blood, our sweat, your tears.

A team above all, above all a team. Ready to defend last year’s victory, we’ll see UCL on the court.

Let’s get down to business!

Volleyball is a game of skill but also requires nerve. I think we’ve got both these qualities as a team and this will lead us to ultimate victory.

Excited to play against a team like UCL. The more competition, the better. May the best man win.
